Q: The best haircut of all time? A: I consider the best haircut to be the one that the client feels comfortable with in their daily life.
Q: How long have you been barbering? What inspired you to choose this profession? A: I've been working for about 5 years. My original profession is a hairdresser, but when I returned from Sweden to Latvia, I decided to try something new, got the chance to work at the barbershop, and realized that’s exactly what I want to do.
Q: Is there a particular style or direction for barbering that you prefer? A: I think I prefer modern haircuts a little bit more, specifically: "crop," modern "side part," and I also love "buzz cut."
Q: Where does your inspiration come from? A: I'd say that I draw inspiration for my work through interaction with people, and inspiration for haircuts comes from Instagram or Pinterest.
Q: What steps do you take to understand a client's preferences and needs?
A: I ask questions! And if I don't quite understand something, I ask even more
questions and clarify the details.
Q: What men's haircuts are considered the most fashionable this season?
A: Hmm, I can't give a definite answer. Currently, popular haircuts are "quiff,"
"crop," and, of course, the "side part.". Recently, I’ve noticed longer hair cuts have also gained popularity.
Q: Can you share recommendations for hair and beard care between visits to the
barbershop?
A: It's preferable not to trim the beard at home by yourself, unless you're adjusting the sides! It's nice to use some styling products for your hair.
Q: Name your favorite products for hair and beard care!
A: Favorite hairstyling products: for a glossy effect, "Dapper Dan Superior
Hold and Shine" and "Layrite Supershine Cream." For a matte effect, use "Layrite Natural Matte Cream" and "Layrite Cement Clay." Favorite beard
balms: "Hey Joe Beard Balm Acid Melon" and "Proraso Beard Balm Wood and Spice." A great product to shape the beard is “OAK beard hold”.

Q: The best haircut of all time? A: Every person is unique, and the best haircut is the one that suits them. I believe there's no need to chase trends. But if I have to be more specific, I prefer classics, and the "faux-hawk" haircut is a nice example.
